d THE GENESIS OF THE INSTITUTE The first miracle drug, Penicillin was extracted from fungus. Many anti-rejection drugs used for organ transplants all originated from fungi. "Lovastatin," the drug used for lowering cholesterol comes from the King Oyster Mushroom. Chemical Synthesis of 9 (Z) - Octadecenamide and its Hypolipidemic Effect: A bioactive agent found in the essential oil of Mountain Celery Seeds. Conclusively, oleamide is a potent hypolidemic agent as regarding its effects on decreasing serum TG, TC, LDL-C and heptic TG. Serum TG reflects thyroid abnormalities and thyroid function and is a sensitive marker of iodine deficiency in a population. Reading peer reviewed
medical journals and research studies funded by the National Institute of Health, National Science Foundation and other foundations
that publish the results of in vivo, in vitro and clinical trials on mushrooms, fruits and vegetables brought the idea to
form this Institute. There is an abundance of very good research available that is not being mapped and put together
to present the connecting pathways and mechanisms that cause various chemical reactions within the human body from the food
we consume. We continually strive to develop a better understanding of the chemistry. There are challenges in
understanding complex biological and chemical relationships within experimental data or models from multiple data sources.
It is an ongoing process to interprete, dessiminate and analyze data to create a picture as to cause and affect for a reseacher and health care provider. A mission is to help those with this challenge to help fight and
prevent disease. We investigate
the mechanisms of the complex chemistry contained within agriculture in collaboration with other researchers. Researching
how the biochemistry of various foods such as medicinal mushrooms impacts cell biology and immunology. As
we harvested different types of medicinal mushrooms, we gave them to the friends and family with serious health problems.
What we found was truly remarkable, the specific health issues usually abated quickly. One person with
prostate cancer had a PSA level of 18, (an indicator of cancer). After two weeks of taking the medicinal mushrooms, the PSA
had dropped to 12, and after two more weeks it was at 9. The team of scientists came to two realizations; first,
that the mushrooms clearly abate serious health problems, and second, the mushrooms have no toxic effects on the body.
Studies show there is no chronic or acute toxicity. Cell nucleus studies show no detrimental effects and DNA showed
no mutations. Pregnant animal studies demonstrated there is no detriment to fetal development, and no LD50, a measure of toxicity
that has never been shown. Medicinal mushrooms apparently produce no harmful side effects. So in essence
most people can eat pounds of mushrooms as food with no side effects. Compare this result to chemotherapy drugs
which have limited positive effects in arresting cancers. Unfortunately, they can
damage the liver and kidneys, (the filters of the body), as well as other organs in the body. Ultimately,
the side effects catch up with the patient who then becomes nauseated, becomes thin, loses hair, and may be laid up in a hospital
on IV’s. We cultured hybrid species of mushrooms with medicinal values with
the same substraits by each research team.
These unique steroid-like molecules from the Hybrid strain 502HLM pass through the blood-brain barrier and causes nerve re-growth in the brain,
accoring to clinical studies conducted in Japan. Clinical experiments in Japan showed actual re-growth of a patient’s
severed spinal cord in published data in 2003, and clearly showed marked improvement of elderly patients with Dementia and
Alzheimer’s, and this Hybrid strain
(502HLM) treatment exceeded any of the four pharmaceutical drugs currently on the
markets. The hybrid mushroom strain contain chemistry which causes the re-growth of liver tissue.
Currently, it is used for treatment of cirrhosis of the liver and also has strong anti-cancer properties. Consumption of the fungal chemistry in foods,
done on a regular basis, will ultimatley improve the user's health. The diversity of mushroom chemistry is extreme and
holds tremendous health opportunities if consumed or added to food products.
NEED The cutting edge of nutritional science provides hope for new, less invasive and less harmful
therapies. Numerous research and clinical studies have demonstrated that the consumption of various medicinal mushrooms specie
strains have resulted in supporting the body's ability to fight disease with anecdotal outcomes of total remission
from many diseases, including certain types of cancer. These clinical studies used formulaic blends of
medicinal mushrooms in the whole or as extracts, sometimes in combination with Western medical treatments. In addition to the
results of scientific research, an increasing number of individuals have become convinced of the miraculous potential of various
strains of medicinal mushroom species by personally witnessing the success. The methods and pathways have
been theorized and further study needs to be done to determine what chemistry stops the metastasis. Reducing
the expression of TKs5 protein in cancer cells also inhibites metastatic tumor growth in animal models. The protein
TKs5 controls the formation of invadopodia in cancer cells. We have become acquainted from anecdotal evidence
with men and women with cancer, who, even after chemotherapy, had little hope for recovery. Review from anecdotal
studies from Europe and Asia have proven to repeat themselfs with patients here in the United States. Some of
these individuals, after consuming a specially created formula of specific hybrids strains of medicinal mushrooms grown on
unique substrates over a three month period, experienced a reduction in markers, tumor growth or the shrinkage of tumors in
lungs, brain, thyroid, prostate, colon, ovaries, breasts, bones and with some achieved
a complete remission of the disease. Based on our extensive research from the compiled science in the industry
and with our collaboration with other researchers blends were formulated of various hybrid strains of various medicinal mushroom
species with recommended diet changes to affect the human chemistry in such a way to boost and balance the immune system and
to correct flaws in mammalian chemistry. A growing number of hospitals and clinics in the United States have introduced integrative medical departments that provide a more “holistic” treatment of patients with debilitating diseases so that patients can benefit from the full spectrum of healing arts. Integrative medicine practitioners represent multiple disciplines which include acupuncturists, nutritionists, Ayurvedic, Chinese and homeopathic physicians. Many of the physicians who design treatment plans have been trained in Western, Eastern, and complementary medical disciplines. There is great interest in these programs across the country as knowledge continues to grow on the use of food and food supplements as adjuncts for healing. These new centers for integrative medicine have embraced the use of adding medicinal mushrooms to the diets of patients who will benefit from doing so. ' '
